Rachel graduated from Western Michigan University with a degree in theatre and spent many years performing in plays, musicals, and improvisational theatre in NYC and Los Angeles. She’s written songs in Nashville for over ten years and has had the pleasure of having a pile of songs recorded by some of the amazing artists with whom she has collaborated.
Born and raised in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Rachel has lived all across the county with her husband, Bob. She met Bob at a party in college. It was love at first sight.

I wasn’t born in this universe.
I was blown off a star on a blustery day and buffered my landing by stuffing clouds into my clothes before plopping into a vat of freshly puffed marshmallows ten miles east of Kathmandu.
